It's not quite winter yet. But And I think today it's supposed to get up to around 70F and be fairly nice for the next week or so. But I'm already ready for spring. I f**king HATE the cold.

Standard weather here in western Washington.  Overcast and a light drizzle.

Over here, snow's just started falling in the middle regions, but down south there's still just rainy and windy autumn. My cat is frequently complaining about me not letting her outside, but every time I do she refuses to actually go through the door, or turns and hurries inside again after a few steps, and then she complains some more. I am beginning to suspect that she does in fact hold me accountable for the uncomfortable weather.

I f**king HATE the cold.
High five my warm-aligned brother. Soon the trees shall be naked and the wind shall feel like daggers. Mornings will be impossible to deal with and nights will hold horrible chills in store.
 I await the Spring.

I'm in Ohio so it's still summer, and will be summer until winter starts.

The part that always gets me is that when you find people who *like* winter, their favorite parts usually all have to do with getting warm.
Hot cocoa, mulled cider, fireplaces, warm fuzzy clothes....yes, they're all nice and cozy winter things, but we like them because as a species, we generally don't appreciate freezing our asses off.

I think it's more the pleasant feeling of going from cold to warm, rather than just being warm.

I kind of hate being warm, I need to be just slightly chilly to be really comfortable.

It snowed the other night. Last year, I don't think it snowed until mid-December.

Other than that, IT'S F#@KING COLD!

Uncomfortably cold here. Going to get a lot colder. I prefer summer, but I don't really hate winter either. The snow's pretty cool. And the contrast between a 90°C sauna and a -20°C snowbank is nice.

It's cold and wet. It was pissing down when I walked to college, and absolutely bucketing down when I walked back.
Did I mention it's cold?
Also the radiator in my room won't work, so my bedroom is the same temperature as outside.

I agree, slightly cold often helps me with indigestion/heartburn and concentration. Apparently this rain is mostly 'light snow'. There'll probably be another dip in temperatures which makes it too cold for snow till February or maybe, God willing, December.  >:(
