38c Chained animal captured in cage.
« on: June 07, 2008, 02:32:00 am »

I currently have guard dogs chained up at my front gates. The area in which they stand is however covered in cage traps. When a kobold thief attacked one of the dogs and knifed out its eyes the dog fell unconscious. The dog was then caught in a cage trap. I know this part isn't a bug and was intentional on toady's behalf. My problem is that a dog on a chain should not be caged, taken to the other end of a fort and still be considered chained up.

The dog is supposedly chained up but is actually in a cage in my animal stockpile.

This is not really effecting the gameplay, it is just an annoyance that I thought might need clearing.

On a slightly off topic note, that's a very visually attractive entrance there.

Huh, that's odd.  The container stuff should have handled that.  I'll note it down.
