I suggest someone who knows something about explosives sets up two of the mines at each of the non-gate access points, may only get one zombie or two, but it'll wake us up, plus we can try and recover them if we move out tomorrow.  I'm not much help in the crafting area, but I'll work on the shed.
Attempt to quitely open the shed and ambush and zombies that may be within, aim for headshots, and try and hide from them until they are all dead, then search the shed overnight.  I'll save my water and drink from the tower overnight and take the first watch on the gate, stay hidden from sight and don't shoot unless I have a clear head-shot.

Follow Freeman!

Clear as much shrubbery as possible before Zombie Time, place the primed landmine and activate another to place at the weak points in the fence, then lie back and work on healing my concussed brain. Well organized watches, I'll take one of the pre-dawn watches. Early to bed and early to rise, eh wot?

i jump around on top of the water tower for half a turn help set up traps for another half turn do the moonwalk across the catwalk then create an improvised explosive. i will then proceed to constantly brag about my creation. if my creatin didnt work i will just throw whatever i made instead at the ground and start jumping on it in a temper tantrum

if zombies attack i will throw the creation at them instead, if that fails i run around in circles wishing for a miricle if that doesnt work ill climb up a tree and start shooting/ throwing things at zombies i will also insult them on there poor table manners

Looks like we have a plan, I'm happy to take first watch. If we can watch from the catwalk all good, if that shrubbery gets in the way maybe we can remove it in time? If not we will have to watch from somewhere (close to the ladder up to the catwalk) where we can see the breaches.

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

Spend the of the night sleeping until the last quarter where I'll take watch with TABBY THE CAPS LOCK CAT and if there is free time search the presumably unlocked shed to see if anyones missed anything, If zombies come I'll use my knife/broom to keep them away until everyone is awake and then either fight or flee depending on what everyone else is doing

DAY 1: NIGHT

You establish a mined perimiter, and tear down a lot of the shrubs, gaining 1 Fortification Supplies.

The goats are a little unhappy at being hauled up a ladder, but dont seem to care once on the catwalk.

kilakan: the pump station is locked (FIN0:4), but you managed to jiggle the lock enough to open it. Inside, you find 1 Electrical Supplies, and a dead hooker. The decomposition is rather severe. (COU:3)

Scood: you combine some chemical supplies in an attempt to make an explosive. (CHEM0:5) You manage to create an explosive compound, consuming 1 Chemical Supplies, gaining 1 Exposive Powder. You could probably engineer a case for it to produce a mine or grenade.

As you hunker at the top of the water tower, a lone zombie wanders up to one of the low spots, and steps right on a mine. Its body ceases to be, but the sound alerts a group of zombies on the street. They turn as one, stare, and charge. They gallop on all fours, screaming and wailing, hurling themselves forward at a terrifying pace. The first line is blown to bits by the mines, but more come. They crash into the base of the water tower like a wave, mostly severed limbs, but a few still standing. One twists, snapping its head around fast enough to kill to a living man, and then stares straight up at you. Its eyes burn like hellfire as it hurls itself at the ladder, screeching an inhuman battlecry.

JacenHanLovesLegos: (GUNS0:2) Your .22 bullet misses by a long margin.
Scood: (GUNS2:6) you snap up from your chemistry, swining around your P90 with one hand, and squeeze off a single round. The bullet streaks straight into the zombie's NECK, tearing off its head.  The body plumets from the ladder, crushing a few others.

The zombies keep trying, but the pile at the ladder is in the way, and they fail to make any progress. As he sun rises, they shriek and scatter.

Summary: SURVIVED!
-1 Chemical Supplies
+1 Explosive Powder
-1 .22LR ammo
-1 5.57NATO ammo
Land Mines Lost
+1 Fortification Supplies
+1 Electrical Supplies
-27 Food (3*9)
-* Water (3*9)(water tower)

DAY 2: DAWN.
Pay no attention to the 'you are here' star. Turns out I forgot to do it in Illustrator, so I cant move it (whups). You're at the water tower. Still at 9 Nav. You've looted most of the hospital and the gun store. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c106/bowdown2q/citymapcircles1.gif

So we could go to the diner for 3 1/2 actions, loot, then fortify at night, then come back next day?

We could do with a place with more space, how about we hold in in the library, they are normally pretty sturdy buildings with only one entrance. Might take some time to clear it out though?
