Welp, here goes a randomly organized stocks screen. Holla if you see something that would make MUCH MORE SENSE someplace else, as I am rather tired.

this is good as long as we don't have a bookkeeper we won't really know what we lose or get only a speculation of it

Proudly stand guard trying to make myself feel important. Go hunting while patrolling the edges of our little hole in the ground. Just don't go after elephants or anything...

Digging's done! Cozy, isn't it? And no, that isn't an oddly symmetrical arrangement of mules there- I'm just too lazy to duplicate the appearance of a Mechanics Workshop. The ='s next to the farm are a Seed Stockpile, full of seedy goodness.

XP assigned tomorrow, stocks screen to follow immediately. Corpses rot after 2 weeks, at which point butchering yields only non-edible byproducts.

FAKEEDIT: Masterturtle, welcome to the Migrant Wave list! Migrant waves arrive midseason, every season, and although it would be true to DF to make you wait until at least summer, it would also be not as fun. You'll arrive next week.   Also, awesome name.

Fun fact! This is the only use I've found for all the stuff I learned about Significant Digits in high school. Thanks, education system!

The game advances in kindasorta real time- one DF week is equal to one Real Life week. Next Sunday you will arrive- I'll send a PM then to remind you, just in case.

Fuzz will build a saquaro rib farmer's workshop, and if any barrels become available, he will make cheese from the milk.
If there is time, he will set up another 3x3 plot, this time of cave wheat.

I set up a 3*3 plot of whatever the most common above ground plant is, and gather plants. I continue to raeg at the cats, informing them that if they do not breed soon I shall begin to remove their toes.

I'm building a Mason's workshop from, and will dig some more. However, I think the teletype may not work well in the long term, so I suggest we put the map on the wiki. I can use my userpage for this, unless someone knows of a better page. I will convert the present map to the wiki and add my dig designations.

UPDATE: I've made the map on the wiki here. My designations are in brown, and long dashes indicate channeling, as underscores don't show up properly. Also, I've endeavoured to align non ground floors to make it easier to go from one to the next. Should ground level become better drawn in then that should probably be aligned too. Of course, the Mason's workshop isn't open for business until it is declared done, I just don't want to put in half-complete structure symbols, since that would be really confusing.

Sounds good, Shadow. Not dealing with a map is helpful for me, not to mention the fact that since it is you digging, you know how it should look anyway. Make sure and link from here, and I'll link to it every Official Post.

I was gonna say something else, but I don't recall what it was. OH WELL. Aha! I noticed that I neglected to mention the supply of animal friends that Cloisteredtombs has. I'll add it to the stocks screen when I do XP tomorrow.

Okay, it seems I was ninja'd. I posted a link to my wiki page, and anyone should be able to edit it. The RawTile template is pretty easy to use. The only caveat is that every line in a table has to have the same number of RT template calls and same number of characters in each one in the same order. It helps to make a new table for a line if it is not aligning properly.

Looks good.  I'm going to suggest that Khan's next priority be to make a pick, so digging can go faster.  Just a suggestion, though.  By the way, who's going to use the axe for woodcutting?

Build a carpenter's workshop outside out of my second bauxite.
