Just to be clear, I assume that Wood goes into Chairs and Stone into Thrones, for everyone using such shorthand.

And I didn't say you couldn't PRACTICE, just that you have to hurt dwarves to do so. Too bad we don't have any useless migrants kicking around *cough*, although that would be WRONG.

FAKEEDIT: Thikut, any particular plans in that regard? Just gonna cut yourself or what?

Hey, how long is the tower going to take, or are you going to update that on the wiki, Monk?

why don't you guys just spar? I can fix you up if you shank each other too much. Although I don't think we have soap, and if you break something I might stand at a pond with a bucket for a few months.

Whoo late update!

1st Slate, 200

Migrants have arrived! "Dan the Man" Cowbridges has come to Cloisteredtombs.
COMPLICATION: It has stopped raining.
COMPLICATION: Animals have migrated to Cloisteredtombs.

The Dutiful Barb- The band of Hoary Marmots has left, to be replaced by a feisty pair of Mountain Goats.
The Future Jungles- The wolves have left, and a pair of deer have arrived in the east.
The Sea of Eels-A giant oceanic creature resembling a huge fish's head connected to a wide tail appears to have climbed ashore at the base of the cliff. Judging by the rotting hunks of flesh, it is a Zombie Ocean Sunfish.

Rodicurst Onyxbone, Chief Medical Dwarf and Thikut Itdunkul, Militia Captain

Modul "Tweak" Mostsilver, Mechanic

Omo Powerballs, Milker

NPC Vismil Blackhoof, Militia Commander

"Dan the Man" Cowbridges, Swordsdwarf

For the tower, a given dwarf can throw up 4 constructions in a week, more if they're agile/helped. So, if only one dwarf does the work it'll take 7.5 weeks, give or take. Obviously, this time is dramatically reduced the more dwarves are on a task.

Incidentally, since Bowdown2q mentioned it, I am planning on only including the Good Bad Bugs- if you can make any kind of argument that "Its not a bug, its a feature!" then its in. So no soap/lye/healthcare bugs, but Perpetual Motion Machines are in.

XP and Stocks to follow, repeated apologies for tardiness, etc etc. I am planning on amending the XP portion of the followup to be an inclusive Dwarf Status Report, giving summaries of worn equipment, health, and experience.

Next update- Thikut vs Microscopic Germs! FIGHT!

I MAKE SOAP AND APPLY IT. The whole mess of steps, using wolf fat/tallow, I suppose. Anybody care to help me out with the intermediary steps before we loose somebody to infection?

I'd like to remind everyone that half of the time I don't even know what I'm talking about. The other half of the time I only sort of know what I'm talking about.

I start to build a wall around the entrance out of sandstone.  The wall will surround a 5x5 area with the 3x1 entrance at its center, and a 3 space-hole on one side, parallel to the ramps.

So, for Blastoise's tower, is that still being done, or what?

Anyway, I've added more of my designations, updated the mining, and added the 5x5 perimeter wall designations.
