OOC: Practically, if we could turn Mikhail into fuel, that'd be the most useful.

However, a Google search for CAN I USE A DEAD DWARF AS FUEL FOR MY WEAPONSMITHING FORGE? brought up a surprising amount of things that weren't direct answers to my question. I did a little searching for bodies/corpses as used for fuel but I can't really find out. I did a little bit of research about cremation and metal forging - copper melts at about 1100°C, so somewhere below that is what we'd use to temper it, and forging it the temperature would go much higher. ...anyway, blah blah blah, I'll cut off my rambling and explanation with my findings/questions.

We can easily reach a hot enough temperature in the forge to burn the body to ashes, but I still don't know if it'd act as a fuel.

Actually, cremation sounds like a fine idea.
You can just bury him in a cup, instead of a coffin.

We could also cut him up and use his body as fertilizer for cave crops or something.  Not that that's an option mind you, unless I go change my vote to other. . . hmmmm.

Vote for cremation and sacrificing his ashes to the Dwarven Parthenon.

I might not have much say in this, but hearing you talk of him I'd hate it if he came back to haunt the expedition.

Good point. Break Mikhail's neck so that if he is reanimated, his brain won't be able to send any orders to the rest of the body.

Besides, if he ever came back to this thread, a vote would very likely be cast to keep him from playing.

He was mauled to death by a zombie. If he's gonna come back from that, I don't think a broken neck will stop him.

He could come back as a vengeful ghost of some kind, or simply curse the area or people. The Priest skill exists for a reason, y'know.

Or not. I'm not saying anything.

Apparently having a redundant creature entry causes the game to say, "Oh, look, it's crazy world now. Nothing makes sense! Alligators live in houses!"

That would be interesting.
Possibly deadly, but interesting.

I didn't realize we weren't already doing this:
Since it has been requested, so it shall come to pass. Let's get this game moving again.

7 AM-6 PM: Work at helping other dwarves.

DO IT!!! If those immigrants still wish to play, they can, but will be npc'd until so.
