... if Cthulhu raises me from the dead, I'm going to go cry myself to sleep.  I was hoping for an epic action-RPG adventure to find some magical McGuffin that brought me back to life.

But you already are raised from the dead!
:D
EDIT: That would be really ironic, though.

yes it would, and I'd probably end up going insane trying to figure out whether I hate Cthulhu or love him.

Returning to camp, Litast asks Tholtig to pray to Aexiesoen, asking to help Norrec in her quest to restore her body to its former self. "I am not as known to Aexiesoen as you are, and Oggez has explained that she has reason to believe he would be willing to help us." She explains, "Please help Norrec, as her death was an injustice."
"Alright, I'll try..."

Tholtig looks somewhat skeptical.

The kitchenette mold free, you move on to the pantry. it's nasty in there. The bacon is grazing on the lettuce. The ham is having an illicit affair with the prime rib, The potatoes see all, know all. Do you think that Anexeion or whatever odd collection of vowels his name is, is a good guy or a bad guy?  I mean seriously, I think he's evil and just trying to get worshipers, but maybe I'm reading too deep into the whole they-locked-him-up situation.

They imprisoned him because he didn't save them, not because he did anything particularly bad.

He did give out boons without any strings attached, remember. If he was just looking for followers he'd have tried to make a deal or at least mentioned how he could keep hooking us up if we started worshiping him.

Well from what I heared back under the human town, he was some sort of God of wealth/decadence, and he displeased his cult in some way.
He hasn't really done anything bad to us, so I'm going to file him under "probably not evil maybe".

OOC:  Wow, I meant to make that a PM, I failed hard-core at that.  I dunno, I'm just inherently mistrustful of something that was so foreboding.  I mean, all those squiggles and stuff point more towards a God of Chaos, definitely not something I want.  Also the blood rituals required to free him make is sound like he was from a society where sacrifice was common-place.  I dunno, I just get bad vibes from him.

Edit:  Not that it's a bad thing really, it explains why I'm still going on with the inquisition despite the fact it's not popular.

It's quite laughable that both people that were militant in opposing you are now dead...

I suppose though they did succeed in setting us back quite substantially, what with the me dying, three dwarves injured and wasting precious time we could have used doing other things.

So's he.

Moral of the story: Orderly debates result in less bleeding.

Celebrating what? The first turkey, or the first turkey egg?
