I'm a bit confused as to how Lilly's character knew that Norrec was thinking there was a heretic to kill.
I guess I'm either out of the loop, or have a hard time telling in-character from out-of-character conversations.

Lillypad is abusing the sacred boundary between OOC and INC

Well I was writing it from an in-character perspective, but none of the actions which would set that off had occurred yet, so I guess that places that in OOC, since mostly I was hoping to get everyone to help with the living situation in the fortress.  That and the fact that Samthere and I worked out a deal OOC as well pretty much makes the whole thing null and void.  As none of the "offensive" actions were taken and we're left with an assassination of the brewer who was more or less, innocent of any wrong-doing.

Yes. More or less.

As dawn broke and the camp gathered for a sombre breakfast, Adil gave a yell and collapsed. A bolt was stuck in her upper right leg. A second bolt struck Shem in the left lower leg, knocking him down. Everybody dove to the ground and behind whatever cover they could find, but a third bolt appeared and hit Sandow in the gut, preventing him from ordering his golem. Kog spotted Mikhail in the treeline, but there was no way to get to him without being skewered.

The situation appeared grim, but Zombie Norrec burst from the shadows. Mikhail shot her twice, but she tackled him and beat his brains out. Before anybody else could act, she disappeared into the forest, leaving Mikhail's mangled corpse behind.

I really did not plan for the fortress to start this way.

Rip out Mikhail's throat, feast on entrails.  Make wooden stake, skewer the butchered Mikhail on it.

I don't think he was a vampire.

But you can't be too sure.

Is Zombie Norrec a permanent addition to the camp now, then?

Nope, I'm off to find an artifact to put life back into these old bones on a more permanent basis here after I finish desecrating Mikhail's corpse.

Edit:  Nevermind, I'm gone now.  Feel free to go on as normal, I just saved all y'alls lives from Mikhail the crazy game-breaking hat for your ass.

And is this quest sponsored by heresy or the Dwarven pantheon? :P
Also, good luck!

This is the second time I've come back to say "Wait, what? Seriously?"

What exactly happened here? Mikhail came back to finish the job, which enraged Norrec so much she came back from the dead?
