I'm not taking a side in this, other than saying that I am against anything that would lower our workforce.
I feel that it is my moral responsability as a doctor to remain impartial.

It is your moral responsibility as a doctor to not risk sobriety!

For now, dragonshardz is one step away from going buddy cop with Mikhail.

Surprisingly, I wouldn't mind that.

Fine, torture everyone you don't like if you want to. We'll see how that works out.

I managed to launch a barge pretty high into the air by myself, having an accomplice who inadvertently helps me accomplish my goal while trying to stop me can only mean that dwarven shenanigans are bound to occur.

Norrec: this is a game, stop taking it so seriously.

Sandow grins to himself while working, turned away from everyone. "I suppose he wont mind me cooking him up once he lays dead, for the greater good of the fortress hee hee" He says under his breath

((Clearly I have to add cannibalism to my list of worries as well.  Heresy, cannibalism, and starvation, if nothing else our list of worries is much more exciting than that of your average fortress

Edit:  Also Cheddar, I'm the chosen of Hipobis Giltgold, I do imagine he will be most upset if you kill me.  *shrug* Trying to make a fortress a success against the wishes of those who would see it fail is ever so hard, btw, I'm sure you'll all be pleased to hear I worked out an agreement with Gar.  Although the threat of heresy is still here, so the inquisition isn't over, just in need of proof and the real threat to our community.

Double Edit:  Hastur, I'm a she.))

((Fine, I could change to the term "blasphemy" if you wish.  I'm serious about it though, there is a threat of it from within our community, as I will find the proof of it, eventually.))

OOC: In defense of V-Norrec the player, I don't think there's anything wrong with taking a game seriously, or choosing to roleplay a character whose actions may be unpleasant to or interfere with other characters (but not players), as long as the character doesn't exist for the sake of dickishness. If V-Norrec's character's hounding leads our characters to dislike her, then it is up to our characters to react, but I don't feel that maintaining a stance, even if controversial, is something to discourage out of character. I believe that inter-character tensions can often lead to a better game.

Apparently having a redundant creature entry causes the game to say, "Oh, look, it's crazy world now. Nothing makes sense! Alligators live in houses!"
