Hey guys, do you think I should just set up a farm plot at the end of the hallway?
We have a lot of side-mining to do, and the sooner the farm is up, the better.
Didn't Shade-o say that farming on mud was better or something? I haven't been here for 30 pages, so I wouldn't know.

And fine, Rolan and I will go out and check out the cave again, I swear if I get teleported again though, ain't nothing keeping me from inquisitioning until I get answers.
Oh, go ahead. Just keep in mind that, firstly, none of us have any answers, and secondly, if you inquisition, we'll kill you.

Please, nobody kill anybody else.

What all can't we butcher for bones?
Right now, everything.
We lack a butcher's workshop.

Sandow "Hey my Golem is having problems. can a mechanic examine it?"

0000 -700;7hour; Continue digging my sideroom. As always Sandow digs, not the golem, the golem assists with some bucketwork and cooling me off by fanning me.
700-800;1hour; Eat the best around.

800-1500-7hours; Train my skirmish chicken into a battle rooster. care for animals, befriend the cats.
1500-1600;1hour; eat the best available

1600-0000;8hour; sleep;zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I will not attempt to kill anyone in the foreseeable future except to save a fellow dwarf from torture.

"Im ok with that. I can make you your own too"

I train it to remain docile while in my arms and to attack once I toss it at an opponent and say the command word.

We've already went over this, chickens/roosters are too stupid to learn how to be battle animals.  We learned this before we entered the Necropolis, how many times must we have the same failed action?

It doesn't have to learn how to do complicated things, it just needs to learn when to be aggressive, and when to be passive. He can train it to react a certain way to key words and phrases as well. It doesn't have to be a soldier. It just has to know "peck this, don't peck that" to count as a skirmish chicken, and/or combat rooster.

Or at least keep a bag on its head when you don't want it attacking you.

Apparently having a redundant creature entry causes the game to say, "Oh, look, it's crazy world now. Nothing makes sense! Alligators live in houses!"

You stay in the caravan and obtain a bit of broken masonry. Using it, you carve it into...

A little scene, most likely of a dwarf standing on a pile of bodies.
You might train them as fighters, but that's really just making them hyper-aggressive. They'll be as likely to attack anything else, and can't follow orders.

Yeah, just what I want, roosters pecking at me, marvelous.

If we can find turkeys, we should definitely make skirmish turkeys. Those things could be monstrous if we play our cards right.

Can it ever learn not to drown in the rain?  (I know it's an urban legend but still)

What time are we spending in the forest, Norrec?
