Aned clarifies: 20 is good. Hey, that sounds like a fun game.

Mikhail tries to smash the door, but Norrec slings him around and sends him sliding on the floor.

Tholtig peers at the shadows. "Anyone there?" she calls tentatively. "No."  "Oh, ok then" she replies, relieved.

Adil realises that this is the door that was explicitly mentioned on how to open. You know the one.

. . . Wonder who called out "No"  Then prepare for battle with the no doubt aberrant forces.

Assure Norrec that they said nobody was there and he can relax.

The kitchenette mold free, you move on to the pantry. it's nasty in there. The bacon is grazing on the lettuce. The ham is having an illicit affair with the prime rib, The potatoes see all, know all. A rat in boxer shorts smoking a foul smelling cigar is banging on a cabinet shouting about rent money.

You should have picked to be a philosopher.  ;D

Latist keeps a close eye on both Mikhail and Adil.

Mikhail fires a magic normal missile at the darkness. Norrec swings a lantern to light it, revealing that there is in fact nothing there.

So, did I get the skeleton or axe blade?

Pray to Oggez, ask whether we should free this trapped god.
If Oggez does not answer, pray to Kizbiz.

Ah, sorry for the delay.

Approach the door with Denrhymed.  Hold her out and spin in a circle, fast, until of course she freaks out and claws/bites my arms.  Apply wounded arms to the door.

I'll assist Adil in this insane ritual we apparently have to do... In a hard-boiled manner.

Continue watching behind us for any sign of activity.  I'll take my sword out and hold it at the ready.

I don't think there is a ritual, I think we just need blood to open the door, and cutting his hand a bit with a knife is too sane.

Didn't the SUPER INTELLIGENCE or whatever it's called mention a ritual to open the door?
