Urist waves the piece of weird-golem-scrap, but nothing happens. He then investigates the carvings on the walls, but has no knowledge of it. You do think that it's a sealed vault of some kind, but that's mostly based on the traps.

Norrec checks for traps once more, but she doesn't find any plates. She examines the engravings. Having no knowledge of history, archaeology, religion, or any other scholarly pursuit, you can only make an uneducated guess. The engravings indicate that there are mounds of treasure waiting in the next room, as well as a legion of stasis-bound dwarf courtesans who will be grateful for release.

Mikhail investigates the raised symbol without getting too close. It's hard to tell if it was carved or cast molten, but it's a glossy black stone either way. It has twisting shapes and lines surrounding a square, all within a circular base. You're not sure if the circular base is part of the narrative being conveyed, or if it's just the shape picked to put the rest on.

Kog nervously checks the ceiling for traps, but there are no axe blades, spikes, drains or giant spiders visible.

Learned - You can name any river, recite historical events from ages past, and quote many, many things.

See if anything I know is like this from the past.

(Guys, remember that we can always search for info on the topside.)

This thing appears to be pre-history, though. You can make more accurate guesses than Norrec, though.

I check the doorways, to see if they appear to be of the self-sealing sort.

Let's just move on.

I'll try and take a crack at these markings as well. C'mon intelligence!

Kogan checks the passageways, and finds that they aren't actually doorways, having no door-like mechanism. He attempts to check down the further corridor, but bounces back. It appears to be sealed by some sort of magical field.

Urist and Litast each examine the engravings in more detail, and together come to the conclusion that this really would be some sort of sealed vault.
Norrec came to the conclusion that the next room was full of gold and strippers. You decide for yourself whether that's likely.

Gar: listens to Norrec. "Gold... AND strippers?" He'll then attempt to use his vault-busting skills (without an artifact gauntlet, or a time limit until death due to air starvation).

I look for mechanisms in the walls. And the floor. And near the center, but I don't actually touch anything.

Edit: Be near a wall when my fool companion touches the death symbol.

Hm... Touch the symbol in a hard-boiled manner.

You fool, you'll kill us all!

Well, go on with it already. I'll be over here, by this wall.

... I'M NOT ASKIN' HIPOBIS GILTGOLD ANYTHING UNTIL YOU SHOW HIM PROPER RESPECT!

Now that I'm done chewing Mikhail out for being a disrespectful asshole, realize the last thing I'm going to find in a place like this is strippers, gold maybe, strippers no.  Take a swig of Dwarven Wine from my waterskin as the others try and figure out what we should do.
