Righty-tighty.

Right. Definitely right. (If I'd have been here, I would have stood out of the arrow flight path and repeatedly hit the plate until the trap ran out of arrows.)

This place stinks of magic, I doubt the traps ever run out of arrows.

I'm curious, will my Wanderer trait be helpful here?

This looks interesting - mind if I build a character to send with the next caravan?

Alternatively, El GM could figure out a way to add me to the current caravan. Either way works.

Follow the others down the corridor to the right.

Wisely, nobody chooses to explore the pit-chute. You come across another room, larger than the previous one. The floor is made of similarly cut stone. There are no plates by the doorway, but there's a raised symbol in glossy black stone in the middle. The walls are covered by engravings and carvings in a language none of you understand. The opposite doorway is also devoid of plates. The sense of magic is stronger still.

It might, but only if you get lost in a maze or something.

If you can come up with a good character, maybe we can work something out.

Apparently having a redundant creature entry causes the game to say, "Oh, look, it's crazy world now. Nothing makes sense! Alligators live in houses!"

I'll begin examining the engravings on the walls, trying to find the most common pictures to set up some sort baseline for figuring out the message these engravings are trying to convey.  Avoid getting near the center, and also, make sure there are no traps in the entrance way >.>

Examine the ceiling for possible traps.

I'll spend some time making notes of the engravings and trying to find a pattern amongst them.

I'll go examine the raised symbol in a hard-boiled manner.

Lilli, please, don't go near the center until we figure out what it does.  I really don't want to unleash hell-hounds on us all.
