Looking for treasure, of course.

I'll toss my shield on one of the newly discover pressure plates to see what it does.

I say this because I'm the only one that can really afford to lose a shield right now.

Mikhail throws his buckler onto the pressure plate, but aside from a click there's no effect. It would appear to be too light to trigger it. It's now out of reach in the middle of the plate.

Leap across the second set of pressure plates.  Investigate this new corridor and tell everyone whether or not it is safe.  If any trap gets set off hit the floor and crawl forward until the traps stop.

Urist taps the walls, but they're just plain cut stone of indeterminate origin.

Norrec takes a leap over the plates, and lands in the corridor. It stretches on for a short distance, but there is a turn ahead.

I'll disregard my own safety and hero roll across the plate, grabbing my shield as I do so. This will of course be done in a hard-boiled manner.

Wait for everyone to join me then take the lead and slowly investigate the corridor, looking out for new traps, especially at the corner.

Mikhail rolls across the plate, and grabs the bucker. A giant axe blade swings across the doorway, just missing you.

The others carefully leap across and gather behind Norrec.

Norrec advances carefully, watching for any more traps. You discover that while the main corridor turns right, there is a panel on the left near the floor that slides inward when pushed. Investigation reveals that there is a tunnel that drops away at a steep angle. It's just large enough for a dwarf to fit in, but you can't see where it ends or figure out anything else about its purpose.
That was very lucky, Mikhail. You could be dwarf cutlets.

Oh... I don't like that left tunnel.  I vote we all go right.

Doing things in a hard-boiled manner has done nothing but good things for me.

I'll continue to the right.
