Well, I've given no indication that there will be hordes of enemies. It's always good to be prepared, but in this case you might be more likely to be tested with puzzles, traits and skills. Too bad nobody has Priest, Philosopher or Archaeologist...

So, the people willing to venture into the dungeon:

CoughDrop
IronyOwl
Lillipad
V-Norrec
Hastur

Rolan7, I'd say that Denrhymes is acting like a mental insulator for you. It dominates you in exchange for rendering you resistant to outside forces. It is a positive trait, after all. Then again, this might not be the best place to test that theory. On the other hand, Denrhymes is intrigued by the promise of eldritch power and wants you to go.

Give Quarterstaff to Irony, then follow the priest down to the disturbance.  Tell everyone I'll enter first to see if it's safe, then enter.  Shout back at them if I get through the tunnel safely.

But- but-
Denrhymes... wants you to go.

Dammit  ;).  Maybe Zergling can at least bind my broken arm first though  :P

"We'll be ready, I have the learned trait, should help"
I dont have a battle chicken yet, but i will bring my Skirmish chicken under my arm. I fashion a miniature blindfold for it, so it doesent attack the others. i also bring my golem who is carrying a crate for loot, and my Hurlball craft good to throw.

"What the... What happened to your arm?
*Sigh*
Let me grab some stuff from the wagon..."

I proceed to set the bone and immobilize it with splints.

Might not be able to post anymore tonight, need sleep.

Litast looks at Sandow puzzlingly. "What's a learned trait?"

Me too actually, didn't notice the time.  I guess Tongsletter just rests her broken arm somewhere safe.

Thanks for the splint, doc!

Unbreakable - Pain is just an obstacle to success. Crippling organ damage, too: in other words you can take the pain, but you're still being horribly mangled.

I can go in as a shield while you follow if that satisfies your desire to run into this dungeon with reckless abandon.

Lilli, if this is a sanity test, as I think it is, it'll be best if I go through first.

Perhaps we should continue this tomorrow so that everyone who wants to can join.

"Norrec, how about you just travel about 10 yards ahead of us. That way we can rush up to help you if the need arises..."

Also, could we possibly get a list of weapons that each person Dwarf possesses?

Litast looks at Sandow puzzlingly. "What's a learned trait?"

"In the Colloquial, it means that my parents educated me with thousands of dwarfbucks, to inculcate a pulchitrudiously Copius amount of superfluous though perfectly cromulent vocabulary for example. A simple Sesquipidilian if you will"

EDIT: "I have a stone hurlball, a golem carrying a crate, and a blindfolded skirmish rooster"

"Sounds good enough I suppose.

1 Quarterstaff (Irony has it)
1 Shortsword
1 Buckler
1 Set of Leather Armor.

That's everything I own that has an effect on combat.

Hmm, do golems have fragile psyches?

1 Heavy Crossbow (+1)
2 Quivers of bolts
1 Short Sword
1 Buckler
1 Chainmail
1 Leather Armour
1 Pickaxe

It's pretty ridiculous how much of my supplies were cut off for no real reason, but I can always just take my stuff back little by little. I listed pickaxe because of the description.

Pickaxe: Applies maximum force on a tiny point, letting it crack stone and impale enemies. Not very good on dirt, and the massive heft makes it difficult to use against a moving target. Wooden shaft with metal head.

You cannot/should not bring your golem for a few reasons:

The passages are very cramped and it would not fit.
It could cause a cave in due to its weight.
It could go berserk from magical effects.

Skirmish chicken, that's fine though.

You easily bind Adil's arm, and brush off some garbage. They can use their arm somewhat, but should avoid taking any more damage with it.

Dungeon Team
Quote
You share out equipment and meet down near the corridor. You all have backpacks and a lantern each supplied by the temple, plus your weapons of choice. Some of you might decide against continuing, though.

IronyOwl - Quarterstaff and 2 clips of throwing knives
Lillipad - Heavy crossbow +1, two quivers of bolts, shortsword, buckler, pickaxe, chain mail, leather armour underlay
Rolan7 - Heavy crossbow, two quivers of bolts, battleaxe, leather armour
Norrec - Shortsword, Buckler, leather armour
CoughDrop - 2 clips of throwing knives
Hastur - Skirmish Chicken, Throwing Crafts
Ochita - Dagger
Samthere - Steel Dagger +1
FuzzyZergling - none (medic)
Nirur Torir - none (mechanical expert)
Lillipad, with all that equipment your hands, belt and backpack are full. You won't be able to carry a lantern or any loot.

We will most likely continue this when everybody confirms or denies participation.
