Nothing that tastes that atrocious that could possibly even remotely approach 'healthy.'

I'll look for a black kitten with white paws, and name her Sankest Shedimistbar (Fabulous Shadow-Rose).

It's half the cost of plump helmet.  I bet vermin taste better.
Speaking of vegetables, I plan on consuming bloated tubers (:
Though we really don't know how much food I'll be able to gather.  Getting seeds for a more reliable surface farm is on my agenda.

Mud Worm Paste is very healthy, possibly the healthiest food you can get. It tastes like the worst thing ever, though, and nothing can fix it. It's like those beetles that the Oompa Loompas had to eat in their homeland.

well, CoughDrop to the rescue, I think we'll have enough variety not to last us, 3 maybe 4 months... of course we need to make it 6.  I hope we find quick growing surface crops.

Only issues now are an overlap of Artisan Forge tools, and bought Brewer tools. And we have ten pickaxes.

Did you count the chickens/eggs and purring maggots?  We have several of each!

I have an axe, so it completely inconceivable that I should ever use a pick.

I'm a skilled brewer and I'm going to be opening a tavern/inn.  No way I'm giving up my Still.

How often do purring maggots provide food? Also, I'm happy to eat sludge as part of a balanced diet.

I'm not so sure I have anything I'd want in place of redundant forge tools. I guess I could go for Jeweler's Tools and maybe retcon my now-inferior set for carpenter's tools or something.

Or maybe we could just forge an anvil upon arriving and then get two forges, or not worry so much about the details of what's getting that extra +1. Either way, I'm happy with the overlap.

I'll warn you, I am planning on digging out a hole with a few stockpile chambers and my sleeping quarters to serve as my forge domain. Not that I won't let anyone else in, but that I'll be spending a lot of time there.

Why am I marked as a novice engineer? I thought I made my novice skills Miner and Siege Engineer...

I'll get a map of the trail the caravan will be going on from a nearby official, then scout ahead a ways to clear the path of any rubble, goblins, or kobolds that might get in the way.
