Great, thanks for brewing all those Plump Helmets we were going to use for food, I appreciate that greatly.

Edit:  Any map?

It's perfectly timed, actually. The last of the mountainhome booze is about to run out, leaving the pure alcohol which can be diluted down a bit. The fermentation should be complete juuust in time to stop everyone from going on water.

Map will go up shortly, basically the second level is almost entire mined out except for one sliver of rock, leaving the downstairs expansion to the north-farming room to do.

Though depending on how much stuff you scavenge from the other expedition site, you might not have to worry about food and drink at all for a while.

Apparently having a redundant creature entry causes the game to say, "Oh, look, it's crazy world now. Nothing makes sense! Alligators live in houses!"

"Hey, Adil? You okay? I hope that soon Kun will be reachable. I hope she will. I mean something might work... Oh? Sorry! Got distracted by something. Well I think its brave having water. What is it like?"

"I'M FINE!  I'm... I'm fine. Kun doesn't want to speak to me.  That's fine, it was arrogant for me to expect otherwise."
"Water is just water.  It's like eating air.  It could be worse, at least it isn't mud worm paste, or dry mushrooms.  For the love of mud, all I want is some fresh berries, and to have a little rum with breakfast.  Is that so much to ask??  This blasted frost!  *sigh*  Just a few more weeks, and we'll be fine... everything will be fine again."
"Bah, I don't need your shoulder.  I have work to do."

"If it makes you feel better Norrec, I'll drink water for a couple days."
Edit. I want to change my schedule I wish to stop brewing and 1) mine, 2) look for plants to eat and brew, 3) find time to take a bath and watch cloths when it is the warmest without using soap.

Are we sending anyone back to try and pick up the rest of the stuff?

Edit:  Because it'd be really great to have more food and booze and stuff.  And maybe get some seeds from the elves or something.

I'll start working on replacing the temporary wall with a better one this week. It should be able to repel a goblin raiding party, but won't likely long delay a real siege, with trolls or siege weapons. If you have nothing else to do, more manual labor would likely help.

I'll stay here. Somebody needs to make sure we don't get killed off in our sleep.

How likely are we to face a real siege in our first year, though?

Personally, I'd like to build the real wall- the massive, impenetrable, sunk-to-the-bedrock one- as soon as the river freezes and we can dig it out where needed.

That requires more stone and workers than we could possibly build in one season by ourselves.
