Norrec dove into the forests, gathering as many plants as she could. After two days of aimless wandering, she had completely filled a barrel of trailberries (plus some truffles), and on the third day brewed it. Cooking the vast pile of omelettes and roasts took up a day and a half, but yielded some delicious foods. Sampling the soil in the forest revealed nothing but silty loam. Five of the logs were cut into beams, providing a good pile of usable lumber, and the remaining four were burned in the furnace, producing five piles of quality charcoal. The statue of Hipobis was also engraved, and she cleaned a good deal of dirt off in an ice-water bath, making her the cleanest person in camp (though still pretty grimy).
Nylona took up the administrative duties, being the only vaguely qualified person. She noted multiple discrepancies in supplies, though who really knew what was going on these days? Kogan didn't seem to mind, as he was planning out a grand and fearsome construction. When he wasn't planning, he was working tirelessly in the masonry shop, cutting block after block from granite boulders. Perhaps he has gone insane, or perhaps he just has something to live for?
Gar was without iron to forge and the drink in camp just didn't have the kick it used to. He spent hours turning his medallion over in his hands, recalling past events. That carnie curse was really weird, wasn't it? Kogan roped him in to drag boulders from the mine to his workshop, calling him a 'useless lump', but mostly he hung around with Nylona. She was pretty cool, she reminded him of Tholtig but without quite so much detachment from reality.
Kog relentlessly tended to his plump helmet farm, or as he called them, 'His little babies'. When he wasn't coaxing the stems and caps up from the muck, he was striking the stone with unmitigated focus. He was joined in his stonebreaking by Udil, Sandow (golem, really), Delerker and Athor.
In his spare time, Sandow located all the scraps that remained of Mikhail: His clothing, his crossbow, his backpack, his bedroll. He borrowed a puppy, identity unknown, and used his intensive knowledge of animal handling. This is what he went to school for, damn it! What became of this, he has not revealed.
