It's already loaded, I think we're already on the road trail journey.
(I am excited to be on the journey!)

Question: Should I take my puppies? Might encourage the elves, would certainly encourage me... but also one more thing to get gobbled up in the night.

Sure, everybody can bring their puppies.

Kogan has planned out the great wall that will defend this place. It will be ten units high, four units thick, and be made of the thickest stone he can find!

Until it is built a makeshift line of boulders will have to do.

I was just going to have a one unit thick, one unit wide Wall until we could actually afford to improve upon them.  It's not like Goblins are going to attack us anytime soon anyhow, we have less worth taking than... just about anybody else and they don't even know we're here yet.

That's the line of boulders. It's the weakest/swiftest wall I can make, and I believe I'll be able to turn the boulders into blocks after it's no longer needed.

(Don't you think the boulders would make the fortress more conspicuous than it needs to be at this point?)

Spoiler: Plan (click to show/hide)

I'd like to have this considered for addition to the building plans of the fort.  The orange represents one level above the current level shown.  This adds 2 rooms (a communal dining room and dormitory) to the fortress and will assist us with living inside the mountain, rather than outside and I believe that's a good next step AFTER all the farms are set-up.

Also CoughDrop, we're being attacked by wild animals who are eating our livestock, we need to do SOMETHING to keep them out and if a line of boulders is enough to keep them out and us safer I'm happy.

Edit:  Oh and the added pink is also one level up, it just isn't to be added right away.

It looks like the caravan will take about 8 days to arrive, assuming they survive.

Well I'm just waiting for Kogan to tell me whether or not my plan is feasible for an addition to the fortress (i.e. won't kill us).  I suppose most of us in the staying group have no change to the schedule though, not much has changed really, other than less people.
