Oh, whoops.

Move to mining south, then.

I mostly guessed on the water tunnel and tank plan, it would be good if there were an official declaration on the matter.

Looks pretty good to me.  Let's get that tunnel dug out, everyone work on it tomorrow, you too Hastur.  Your room can wait until the tunnel is finished.

Edit:

Taking:  Leather Armor, Backpack w/ 2 gold bars, pickax

Schedule
Midnight-6:  Sleep
6-7:  Breakfast of Cow Cheese and a Dwarven Wine  (Cheese and Wine, lolz)
7AM-7PM:  Work on Tunnel, be sure to leave a staircase in the ice so we can get out.  If tunnel gets finished, go ahead and work at the southern rooms.
7-8:  Dinner of Sunscale Salmon and Brine Ale
8-10:  Set up the forge using the Forge Tool, anvil and the +1 Granite Table so we can get some butchering tools made tomorrow.
10-11:  Help Gar forge butcher's tools.
11-12:  Pray to Hipobis Giltgold from my bed, then sleep.

Norrec, could you do the forge a little earlier so we can work on it together? I'd like to make sure everything's placed right.

00-06: Sleep in tent.
06-07: Eat breakfast of cow cheese and Dwarven wine with Norrec. Talk about cheese and wine and rationing.
07-19: HARDCORE digging according to Digging Plan Gar-Alpha (North).
19-20: Dinner of cave crab and Dwarven rum; talk to Tholtig and Norrec and try to find a non-contentious point of conversation for the two.
20-22: Set up the forge, possible helped by Norrec, using my anvil, my tools and the +1 table.
22-23: HOPEFULLY with Norrec stoking the forge under my guidance (shovelling coal when I tell him to), make copper butcher's tools.
23-24: Cuddle with Uth, Sleep in tent.

SamThere, Fuzzy, help get this tunnel done first, if it's not done our lives will be miserable later, after that you can dig whatever rooms you want, for now work on the tunnel so we can get it set up in time and life is easy for us later.

((Seriously, an office, we don't even have farms, enough food, enough drink, or really anything else and you want an office?))

Well, I was going to help work on the tunnel, but then I noticed that both you and Irony were doing it, so I thought that you would get it done easily.

Changing post.

We have to get 10 blocks out of the way, some of them might be soil, but I'd be much happier if we were all just working on the tunnels.  I want this thing to be done 100% guaranteed.

I thought that we were going to dig down from the river, install the floodgate a few tiles in, then get out and mine the rest from the fields side?

yeah, but we're going down 2 z-levels now so we have the first 3 on the left side, then the 6 at -2 z and then the 1 tile wide entrance way we have to dig so we can install the floodgate.

For clarification, the three-tile wide section before the narrow tunnel is for setting the floodgate in stone so that it doesn't leak, assuming that it's dirt down there.

Do you have to do that in the Dwarf Fortress game, or just in Cobalt Edition (setting the floodgate in stone, I mean)?
