Aid Norrec in negotiation the "Mikhail" way.

Son of a bitch.

Did I learn anything about fish?

As far as fortress plans, was scale ever established on that drawing? I'd kind of like a more detailed overview of the site before deciding on this or that pattern.

Ask Mikhail to please not burn this town down either, and head off to see the local leader for foreign affairs.

Edit: Would the trader skill give me the option to get slightly lower prices?

Mikhail attempts to intimidate, but the brewer pulls out an even larger crossbow. Hmm.

The brewer appears to be the local leader.

That's it, negotiation didn't work. It's fire time!

Did you roll to get that result? Damn it Mikhail. If we ever travel to another town, you will not be coming.

Try to get everyone to restrain Mikhail.

*sigh*

... Calm down Nirur, seriously.  Adil's action to try and gather some local plants hasn't even gone through yet, and there might be an army on the warpath in front of us that the brewer knows about.

Help restrain Mikhail

And while we're at it, if I'm ever in another dungeon crawl, Irony isn't allowed to come (if I'm leading it at least), as she'll throw all caution right out the window and get the entire group killed.

Things don't seem to be going smoothly.
I buy a couple (2) barrels of lobster (With permission from the expedition leader, of course.), then talk to any patrons around.

As we do seem to have a food shortage, perhaps we should buy the cheaper fish? Also, I think I may take a crack at putting my Trader skill to use.

The brewer has been amused by this infighting, and gives you the information for free. He's also impressed by Litasts bartering ability, and throws in a free barrel of Sunscale Salmon.

There's been talk of goblin raiders nearby, though none have been seen near the village. They have a militia, but mostly they rely on appearing poor and unappetising to survive. The military patrol returning to Blackstone is expected to pass through from the south in a few days, and will stay for a few days to assess the situation before carrying on.

There's still snow on the ground further to the south, but the warmer weather is starting to melt it.

Adil searches for herbs, plants, fungi, anything, but this area truly is desolate. Perhaps it will bloom in spring, but right now it's just endless dry grass.
