Gar closes his eyes and focusses on the feeling in his feet. Anything? :D

Make my way to the surface while questioning the appeared dwarves about the god.

Wake up.  "That was pretty weird."  I say.  Look around, attempt to notice any hint of corruption in any of the dwarves.  Get up and dust myself off.  Go up to Tholtig, "I don't forgive you, I will see you punished for your actions."  I say storming off.

Seeing Gar fall out of nowhere: "Er, you know, there's a reason I didn't shout 'Touch the shadow it's safe!'.  I wasn't actually sure what would happen.  I guess I'm honored so many of you touched it with me?"

Irony: "Yes, let's talk to these... priests.  I'd like to hear their excuses."

Examine what stone the basin is and examine the engravings on the walls as I leave.

"Punished? I cleared out the disturbance for us!"

"Aexiesoen said he liked infinity and chaos for his symbol, so maybe that's what he's a god of. Otherwise he was very friendly, and I think he learned a lesson from whatever happened earlier."

The group travels back up the way they came, finding their way to the temple. Near the exit they encounter Darrick the priest, an unfamiliar military-looking dwarf, and Litast, who is out cold.
You all reappeared back in the second room with the symbol/barrier. Nobody wants to go back to the basin.

Apparently having a redundant creature entry causes the game to say, "Oh, look, it's crazy world now. Nothing makes sense! Alligators live in houses!"

"So tell us why there was a god down there. Why is the military here?"

"We got rid of the disturbance for you! Apparently there was a god trapped down there from long ago, but I let him go so everything should be normal now!"

Inquire about reward.

Darrick is shocked at your account of events, but since there's no signs of impending doom he can only assume things really did work out.

He hurries off to meet with a superior and decide what to do now.

"These must be the descendants of the cowards that locked Aexiesoen up in there.  But maybe they didn't record that part of their history."

Annoyed by the whole affair, I pick up Litast and head towards the caravan.  Begin plotting on how to make sure those dwarves aren't corrupted by whatever was down there.

Gar: follows the rest, but seems to be paying less attention to where he's going and more attention to something you can't quite detect.
