Displays of affection or kindness are one thing.  Plain conversation is another.  I don't pay any attention whatsoever to people's gender online unless I'm actually getting to know them personally.  I speak to everyone as simply a person until then.

Personally, I just give everyone books I think they'll like or I think will help them.  I've never seen the need to give anyone hot cocoa or bubble mix, and I've never received any, either.

This thread still exists? Hmm. To be honest, looking back on it, this was more of a venting thread then a "I need help" thread. Its all sorted out now. Took a good long brake from dating, but I have a good female friend of mine who I'd like to start a relationship with.

I also failed to answer the question of where I am in life. I am out of high school, but *just* so. No college for me, at least, not yet.

...Which reminds me. I just remembered Nikov PM'd me a month or two ago, and I never replied. I feel like an ass.
