As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

I mount autoturrets on the walls of the fort allowing it to retaliate against enemies, whilst the Javelin armed soldiers retreat to the fort.

So my crundles are staying intact unless they're newly spawned... until they are exposed to anything that isn't at room temperature.  This mostly seems to mean blood, specifically, their own.  Then they go poof very quickly.

Cancel previous order. Order a queen. Make it lay eggs and order alot of drones. Shoot acid.

Sorry for taking forever to update, but here it is though :D . Warning, very long!

RedAlertFan - You order the forts BLU scouts to go out and attack the Behemoths. Their attacks, however, are ineffective, and they beaten to a pulp. Effects: None

Furtuka - You try convincing the mutants to join us by bribing him with the forts entire supply of milk and cookies. The mutant responds with "I EAT KITTENS!!"Effects: None

Megaman - You manage to swipe a few stick of dynamite from the small group of powder gangers in the fort, of which you then instantly throw at the behemoths. The dynamite is not effective against the mutants, but does some damage. Effects: All mutants lose 300 health

Maxicaxi - You get inside the forts one and only Warmonger Titan and position it behind the forts walls. You fire of several volleys of missiles at the behemoths, but unfortunately, most end up in a complete miss. Those that did hit, were very damaging though. Effects: Behemoths 3 and 5 lose 2,500 health

Behemoths attack!: The surviving behemoths (2,3,4 and 5) Pound on the forts walls, damaging them for 800 health. Effects: Forts health: 8,600 / 10,000

Phantom: You warp reality so that the entire NCR army is in front of the fort, rather than in the wasteland. You shout over the megaphone, telling them to attack the behemoths. The bullets fly everywhere killing off all the damaged mutants, and severely damaging the unscarred ones. Most of the troops lose morale and run away while seeing their friends getting slaughtered. Effects: Behemoths 3 and 5 dead, Behemoths 2 and 4 lose 1, 250 health

Adwarf - Your soldiers charge out to the battle, and only do a little damage before being slaughtered. Effects: Behemoths 2 and 4 lose 200 health

Xanatos Jr. : You do the "Jarate jar refill" and throw those jars on the mutants, causing the to take mini-crit damage from now on

Sheb: You use your scotch tape and fix up some holes in the wall. Effects: Fort health gained. Now at 9,100/10,000

Beheoths attack!: Behomoths 2 and 4 bash at the fort walls, damaging them for 400 health. Fort health now 8,700/10,000

JacenHanLovesLegos: The forts magma trap opens, surrounding the entire countryside with lava and flames. Because of the enormous size of a behemoth, it does almost no damage. Effects: Behemoths 1 and 4 loses 100 hp. Mini-Crit Effect: Bonus 50 damage

NewsMuffin: WAAAAAGH!! Effects:WAAAAAGH!!. Ok, seriously. The orcs charge out onto the battlefield, and start hammering on the behemoths. Just like every soldier beforehand, they get decimated before they do too much damage. Effects: Behemoths 2 and 4 lose 300 hp. Mini-Crit Effect: Bonus 100 damge

Kashyyk: You attach the autoturrets/ sentry guns to the wall, and set the to open fire on all land units. Effects: Walls now have auto turret defence

Exkirby: THE WHITE FLAG OF DEATH IS WAVED!!! Effects: Awesome Sauce

Fort Defences Attack: Auto guns damages behemoths for 200 damage. Mini-Crit Bonus: Extra 50 damage

Behemoths Attack:Behomoths 2 and 4 bash at the fort walls, damaging them for 400 health. Fort health now 8,300/10,000

Derekristow: You link up the science sector's chemical dump to the moat. The is now filled with acid. Effects: Foot Units slowed 2 turns before attacking fort. Foot units take damage on their first attack on the fort

Penguin Overlord: (I have no idea who they are. I will assume that they are awesome and Pwn everything with big swords of death. Thats what google images showed me, excuse if i am completly wrong) Bro and Kamina run up and start slicing the behemoths. They do quite a bit of damage before being killed. Effects: Behomoths 2 and 4 lose 600 hp. Mini-Crit Effect: Bonus 200 damage

Fort Defences Attack: Auto guns damages behemoths for 200 damage. Mini-Crit Bonus: Extra 50 damage

Overall Monster Stats: Behemoths 1, 3 and 5 dead. Behemoths 2 and 4 have 150 health left.

Overall Fort Stats Fort health: 8,300/10,000
                                  Fort defences: Acid Moat - Slows foot enemies 2 turns, damages them on their first attack
                                                       Auto Guns - Deals damage to all ground forces
