Both sections are for your hat, the body is always team colored. sorry.

lime, orange hat. red team.
how often will the turns be (and it seems that they are non simultaneous, is that right)?
Also, is there fog of war?
and i assume resource points only help the general who claimed it, not there entire team?
And finally, this seems like its going to be pretty awsome

Turns will be... I don't know how often. They are pseudo simultaneous, orders are made by the entire red team, then blue, then red again, etc. Units will move on each turn no matter which team is the one moving.
There is no fog of war, I cannot see how that would work without moving to PMs and denying spectators. I wish for all to see what's going on.
Resource points offer an action point every now and then, it just matters who goes and grabs it first. Fortifying them of course will be a primary tactic to deny the enemy.

Didn't think there would be fog of war, but how will gurillas ambush the enemy if everyone can see them?
And don't quite get how turns work (despite your explanation)

And can our units move through each other?

Guerrilla fighters can sorta ambush by being on cliffs. But yeah, I suppose the term 'ambush' is not the right one. Who knows, through confusing and clever maneuvering you might fool the enemy into thinking he is in a safe position, then shove the guerrillas down their throats.
Also remember the fact that soldiers are stupid and probably won't pay much attention to guerrillas unless they are staring them down.
And can our units move through each other?
If convenient I suppose. Though that is something you shouldn't have to worry about.(I hope)

Light blue bottom, dark blue top, blue team.
Edit: How will engineers be handled? Are they too operated by their own logic, or will you be able to boss them around to build?
