wolrdgen issues
« on: November 04, 2010, 08:28:22 pm »

hi, i recently downloaded DF 2010 and installed the ironhand graphics pack. however when i try to creat a new world it says

The world generator couldn't find any civilization definitions

This problem cannot be resolved by continuing, so you should either abort or skip all rejects for a legends-only game.

any ideas on how i can fix this problem?

Do you get the same error without the graphics pack? The locations and information contained in a lot of the config files changed from the last version.

TBH, I think that all dwarf fortress problem solving falls either on the "Rube Goldberg" method, or the "pharaonic" one.
{Unicorns} produce more bones if the werewolf rips them apart before they die.

Only suggestion I have at this point would be To redownload and reinstall. If you still have an intermittent worldgen issue, list the exact steps that you take, starting with decompressing the zip.
