Anyone else think a bit of Zalgo should inserted into the mythos?

No.

I've heard people talking about how Slender Man could be Zalgo's "Dragon" and I think that they're completely missing the point. We aren't supposed to know Slender Man's motivations because we can never fully understand him. Sure, he eldritch and all, but not in the traditional Lovecraft style of things outside of reality driving people insane. They're also completely different in what they represent: Zalgo -> chaos, Slender Man -> our primal fears. No need to mix them at all to the dilution of both (mainly Slender Man though, the Zalgo meme is getting tired).

New proxy, new symbol? No clue who the proxy could be since nobody's been featured in TribeTwelve except Noah, Milo and Karl I guess. Maybe someone from Milo's family, maybe his mother? That would be crazy. Or maybe it's Karl. Noah is so screwed if it's Karl.

Also, laughter in the video :\  I sure hope that was meant to be the proxy laughing, because Slendy isn't supposed to laugh, it's just goofy

I don't think it's supposed to be Slendy. Actually, now that I think about it, Slendy seems to be taking a very passive role in Tribe Twelve. It's the proxy who seems to be doing most of the work. I wouldn't rule out Karl, seeing as he knows the most about Slenderman of anyone else in Tribe Twelve. It looks like this proxy is attempting to make Noah do somthing he and said proxy know about, but is being hidden from the viewers. There's more to this then we're seeing.

I just finally got around to starting House of Leaves this morning on the flight home. Very good so far, though I'm not at any of the really weird stuff. I'll keep an eye out for references I catch from MH.
