Not so sure Jessica wrote that combination. She seemed to be pretty clueless about it all, so I doubt she would know about the Operator Symbol, whatever it means/is supposed to do. (then again, she could have written it during her memory blackout) Instead, it seems to me that Masky wanted J to get back to whatever it is he wants him to do.

Masky, as far as I remember, has always caused distortion (Entry number escapes me at the moment, the one where he watches J sleep after somehow getting in J's room). Though, I'm still pretty sure the visual tear is exclusively Slendy's, which leads me to believe he was lurking around there somewhere the whole time.

Great entry, can't wait to see what's on those tapes!

I saw a snowman while driving today that had an unusual design choice for its arms.  They chose what looked like the ends of some minor branches.  No large, central branch.  Rather three or four long, slender offshoots from the same shoulder joint on each side.  They didn't even remove the twigs.  I immediately thought of slenderman.
