I like to listen to listen to the player-made song from this thread: The EPIC Dwarven Drinking Song of Many Names
I just read that entire thread. Did you ever make a version with the lyrics?

Oh man it would be so epic if we could make a lyrics version. Everyone who wanted could sing a verse and then get as many people as we can to record them singing the chorus and merge them all together. EDIT: And of course get everyone to yell BOATMURDERED!!
THIS NOW
If someone got members of the community to finish that song with lyrics, I would listen to it every day for the rest of my life.

Think of it like Sim City, except with rival mayors that seek to destroy your citizens by arming legions of homeless people and sending them to attack you.

I just might have to record me singing the chorus to rally the others >_>

Hell, if we can get enough people, it could become the main menu music!

Can we just sticky one of these threads and have done with it?

The problem with that is we have too many types of these threads (not music, but sticky worthy due to repeating) that if we did start assigning stickies to them, we'd fill up a good portion of page 1.

EDIT:
Also when a Forgotten Beast, Titan, HFS, happens I pull up the l4d2 tank theme.

Playing dwarf fortress while listening to Tom Waits is so .... Wrongishly righty, or Rightly wrong.  Either way, I can't get get the song Underground out of my brain now...

The entire content consists of senseless murder, a pile of faceless naked women and zero regard for human life in general, all in the service of the protagonist's base impulses. It is clearly a cry for help from a neglected, self absorbed and disempowered juvenile badly in need of affectionate guidance. What a sad, sad display.
