. . . you realize such a thing already exists right?  It's called S.O.N.A.R.  The problem with that is when you use it, the subs can torpedo you before you can shoot them, hence why silent running is an amazing technology.

Also, why should I give up any claim in the Pacific, Because you and Mr. Nuke want to claim the Pacific all for your own?  Such a deal would screw me over as the Hemisphere I'm starting in has bigger countries and the size of the country has no impact on the income you receive.  If it were to be more fair, larger countries would naturally have more income, for the moment though, such is not the case and thus I need to be able to move to an area where there are many smaller countries that I can take over.

Well, HEDAR trumps sonar in that using higher frenquecies allow plane to detect submarines. And you cannot torpedoes an airplane.

As for the Pacific, well, you can either go West against us, or East against the UN in Africa. Having one "border" secure would allow you (and me) to focus on the other side.

Except for Mr. Nuke who you're allied with might eventually come up with a way to Never Gas me, it cannot be allowed from a defensive stand-point, at this time I must go on the offense in Asia.

As H.E.D.A.R. is concerned, that doesn't even make any sense.... if it doesn't use sound, it can't be used.  Unless you're going to create a HUGE noise making machine you wouldn't be able to produce a sound loud enough to reflect through that much air and water, frequency has nothing to do with it.  You couldn't detect the heat signature/energy of a submarine as there is far too much water to notice the energy of a nuclear reactor even, and light gets too refracted in water.  For those reasons, they system as you described can't exist.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetic_spectrum

Right, so it operates on the same basis as light and it'll get horribly horribly refracted by the water and be of no use to you.

I think he's just wary of Russia as it's bigger than him, I don't think he's realized yet that I'm nearly as big as Russia, anyway. I could be wrong about that though.

Technically with Russia having the most troops, that makes him the best target for a good ol' Nerve Gassing and it hinders him more than anyone else and if you could keep doing it, you wouldn't have too much to worry about.

But he couldn't attack all of Russia's many territories at once and after one attack Russia would fall on him like a ton of bricks. Anyway, he technically doesn't have any nerve gas delivering units yet.

Also, what does the UN have against the pope? Seriously. He's the frikkin POPE, he can do what he wants!

And somebody to stop Sheb from taking over half the globe, that would be nice too.

Well, I only own two more territories than the Pharaoh. As you said, big countries look impressive but aren't much, Russia and China look like half of the world's surface, but are only worth 131,000$ a turn.

Also, I am NOT allied with Halsantium. I did two deals with them (a tech-sharing treaty and a deal to attack and share China) and they didn't do their part, in either case.

Also, you're totally right about HEDAR. I though it over and changed my mind. I'll work on develloping sonar buoy that a ship or plane can install in a sea zone and that monitor everything using active sonar. I have nothing against you, but I cannot allow some aggressive potentate to have an hidden weapons ready to strike me at a moment's notice.
