Alexander was looking through one of the chopper's porthole. Not much could be seen due to the smoke, ashes and dust that follow a nuclear war, but here and there, in between the charred fields and the burning forests, the ruins of some destroyed cities could be seen. Once or twice he even swore that he had seen something move. But it must have been the wind playing with the ahses, for nothing was alive between Moscow and Neo Stalingrad.

"You should close the lead shutter: we're approaching another impact site." said a voice from the cockpit.

Alexander nodded and shut the porthole closed. He turned around on his seat, trying without success to find a comfortable position: Neo-Soviets aircrafts were fast, secure and cheap, but certainly not comfortable. Giving up after a few more minutes of turning around, Alexander started reflecting about all the things that happened to him in the last 48 hours. He was still a mere lieutenant at the time, acting as bodyguard for a few Politburo members that were visiting Ukraine. He was waiting outside a meeting-room when the news came out of the PA system: the Americans had decided to retaliate for the invasion of South Korea by nuking over 450 Imperialists Cities.

As soon as the address was over, hell broke loose. Soldiers rushed for any phone, secretary started crying, civilians staff were trying hard to believe that it was a mistake. A few soldiers even voiced the opinion that it was the Politburo members' fault and that it was the right time for a mutiny. Shouts and gunfire were heard. It was as if the thermonuclear warheads had destroyed sanity as well as factories and houses.

In this mess, Alexander was one of the few officers to stay calm. His family was from Kalilingrad, far away from the rest of Russia and out of range of the U.S. ICBM. He quickly took control of his units, shooting a couple mutineer on the spot as exemples. He then managed to escort one of the Politburo's member, Sergei Ivanov, to the Black Fleet HQ. It was there, aboard the R.F.N.
Sporting that Ivanov appointed him as colonel, with orders to take control over and pacify Sevastopol.

The next morning, as the last soldiers were returning to their barracks and as news of the destruction were coming in, three letters arrived. Two were from the Politburo, a third was from Sergei Ivanoc himself. In the first was his new commission as a one-star-general. In the second was an order to requisition five radiation-proof choppers and flight to Moscow to relieve the Secretary General from his job. The thrid was not even a true letter, but a piece of paper with a few word scribbled hastily in pencil. "Have him commit suicide"

I have only one thing to say as the mutinees.

Перейти товариші! Вперед у гнобителів завісу! Вперед у славний багаття! Боротися, поки у нас немає більше патронів! Kill фашистів, це ваші батьки плач! Kill фашисти! Це молитва Вашої Батьківщині! Вперед! Kill! Смерть репресивних зрадників!

"Смерть репресивних зрадників!"

Which means:
Go comrades! Forward into the oppressors veil! Forward into the glorious pyre! Fight until we have no more ammo! Kill the fascists, this is your fathers cry! Kill the fascists! This the prayer of your motherland! Forward! Kill! Death to the oppressive traitors!

"Death to the oppressive traitors!"

Uh, being the turtle I am, I will do this and I don't know the turn format.

The Socialist Union of Free Alaska:
All funds except 35,000 go to researching the Alien Craft. Go go Cydonia!
Prosto Lider calls all units to entrench! Or something.
Alaska raises up some Heavy Armor.

Your units are already entrenched. They do it automatically. (You don't get bonuses or anything from it though. It's already calculated into their defence values.

Also, do I get some income from wastelanded countries? And I'm glad to see that the United Empire grew faster than I am. Maybe the world will stop focusing on me now.

They're irradiated wastelands. The only people living in them are in bunkers deep in the ground. In other words, no, you don't.
