And somebody to stop Sheb from taking over half the globe, that would be nice too.

Well, I only own two more territories than the Pharaoh.

SHH! I was hoping they wouldn't notice that! >.>

oh, I noticed, I just assume UN is going to do something against him (Demonic Spoon) sooner or later.  You (Sheb) on the other hand managed to down all of China's forces in one fell swoop (damn attacker's advantage) totally taking the check on your power in that region out.  Now the only check against you is maxicaxi, and let's face it, you'd squish him, and probably will once you border him.

You forget Halsantium, and the US (Yep, they border me). But even if they weren't there, what would that change? As long as you don't anger other nations, you can think of them as oceans. Your power is only limited by the number of countries you can take. And if that number is greater for me than for your or Halsantium, it doesn't mean I got limitless power. And it has nothing to do with China.

Actully, I'm planning to do something about the UN soon, unless USEC_OFFICER decides to jump the gun thanks to this conversation.

It gives you more money, which gives you more research and military, which gives you more power.  Also, I imagine the US is going to be gunning for me a lot more than you, I'm in South America, you're in Asia, who would you attack first?  Likewise I imagine it's only a matter of time before the UN begins assaulting Demonic Spoon, which judging by the sheer number of countries the U.N. owns, probably won't end well for him.

Well, I border the US, you don't. That's it. And yeah, I get more territories than you do, so more money (but not more techs...). Does it have to do with the fact that China went down? Well, in part, because I now own China, which is my most productive territory. But it mainly has to do with the fact that I was better at invasions than you were. You may have less countries in South America, but you didn't manage to invade them all yet, so the "number of country" limitating factor hasn't kicked in yet.

What I see is just that you missed the bandwagon and now you're trying to mount the world against me to prepare your invasion of Asia.

Why is this called Europe's Recession anywho?  Is there some kind of famine going on over there that kills all their econ for this turn or something?

If you haven't noticed, most of the European countries so far are under $30,000 dollars income.

Question: Can we load units into ships? And if so how many?

Yes, and you can load as much as you want. (You 'make' some troop transports. And you need an actual ship to escort them, to protect against enemy pirates, mines etc.)

Delicious.

Glad you liked it.

Waiting for MrNuke.

Ah okay. So the construction of troop transports are abstracted away but there must still be ships present? Do I have that right?

Yup.
Another questio: can subs transport troops? Can we transport troops by air? If stealth subs transport troops, are they transported stealthily?

How much would it cost to build more research facilities?

What do you mean? I think the GM assume that if you spend a lot of money, more research facilities are built.

He mentioned earlier you would have to build new ones when Russia got taken over, I'm wondering how much it would cost to build extras and thus speed up research.

Yes you do.

Another questio: can subs transport troops? Can we transport troops by air? If stealth subs transport troops, are they transported stealthily?

Subs can transport troops, but the only way it can be stealthy is if a sub is designed that can carry troops inside it. A sub transporting troops is escorting them. Transport ships are still needed.

The only way to transport troops by air is if you design a plane to do so.

How much would it cost to build more research facilities?

Research is kinda fixed right now. You scientists build more research facilities when needed.

He mentioned earlier you would have to build new ones when Russia got taken over,

That was flavour for why Russian scientists didn't complete any projects.
