Metric shit-tonnes of rain plus nigh-guaranteed chance of thunder and lightning.
Enough rain means school will be closed (yay! floodplains!)
Also, power line was down, but we still had power.
Guys fixed it super fast.
Slightly disappointed at the rapidity with which they did so, however, as I had just lit a good candle and started reading Catcher in the Rye when it came back on.
Now I have to redo my alarm clock.
Overall, pretty good, if still a bit wet from slogging through the torrential canals that form on my school (once again, yay! floodplains!) and getting rained on.
Oh, also, Sensei's mother died, so he's on the mainland attending her funeral.
He's taking it so well, you'd never even know it happened were it not for him explaining why he'd be gone for two days.
