Paper targets have few natural predators so 1911s are required to keep their numbers in check.  Without people like me we'd be overun with them.

I'll never forget how amazed I was when I found out you can just go into a sporting goods store and buy man-silhouette targets.  On the one hand, I expected I was being secretly photographed, but on the other, the guy manning the counter sounded like he enjoyed decorating them as IRS agents for his own practice.

Sometimes though, I do wonder if they're out to get me.  Especially that one that I gave a face with bullet holes.  He just kept staring at me; the more I shot him, the more intent he got.
