I know, this has probably already been suggested... But I really wish you could reserve a CERTAIN type of bin, barrel for a stockpile. Such as I dont want my coal and coke in wooden boxes, while they use all my iron bins to hold all of my stone blocks... It just makes no sense... A big fire just hit me, and set all my coal on fire, while just destroying the boxes holding the blocks... This would be so much more helpful

Given that metal is a very good heat conductor, that would not be very helpful in this case. It would be useful to protect against small fires though. And we'll get ceramic containers sooner or later.
