Perhaps I'm not looking in the right place(or it's hidden to non-logged-in users), but the layout of the pages seems far harder to use than other wikis, mainly because there doesn't seem to be a link to a page listing all special pages. If this is to ever reach Wikipedia's level of quality and interlinking (although on a smaller scale), it will be important to know the pages that are linked to but don't exist, as well as the pages that don't link anywhere else or aren't linked from anywhere else.

I just checked, and http://bay12.wikia.com/wiki/Special:SpecialPages works, it just isn't available through a convenient sidebar, unlike Wikipedia.

Honestly I think a sticky eventually would be good, but you may want to fix up the OP a bit so that it's not simply a (broken) link that says "EET BE HERE," and with a few guidelines/reccomendations on what to add. There's some content like "it's probably the most popular" or, uh, a list of 'important people in the FG subforum' which really just seems like people adding other people they like and is only really going to encourage wankery.

In regards to plot summary length, a 'this is what it's about' sentence or two seems like a good minimum, with a max being however much time/effort an editor is willing to put in. The more information the more useful, generally speaking.

Doing something that will print your name in the history books, and everyone knows it. Webby? King of the Mafia. Chedd? He made that active list that has been stickied (Still waiting, Toady...). Org? Well, he's Org, that technically warrants him one by default.
