Sticky Keys
« on: November 03, 2010, 06:58:03 am »

Does anybody know how to disable this damn 'feature' of XP ? It is a real pain in the ass. I clicked the wrong box the other day when it showed up, and my damn keyboard completely locked up. I had to use the visual keyboard to restart the machine.

On the left a cannon which shoots dwarf children into the sun, on the right, a massive pit full of magma charred dwarfs and elves.

press the shift key a few times untill that little box pops up and click settings, then try to find a tick box that say activate sticky keys blah blah and uncheck it.
It has been a while since I disabled it on windows xp so not all of it might be correct, simply try to look through the options of that sticky key box that pops up.

The thing you're looking for is in the config of stickykeys.

Even if its diasbled, if its set to use its hotkeys it will reactivate.
Just unclick the use hot keys bit and you're sorted.
