Oh that crazy Dungeon Master...
« on: June 02, 2008, 05:49:00 pm »

My Dungeon Master likes cloaks.  Says so in his preferences.

Right now he's wearing a pair of mittens, a pair of shoes, a hood, and eleven cloaks (and he's tasked right now to grab number twelve).  I have a skillful clothier and two leatherworkers churning out clothes of every type and all this guy wants is more cloaks.

Guh.

But is that going to free up his time so he can grab a pair of trousers?

Dungeon Masters don't wear pants, except by a bug (which was fixed in 38b).

Oh god, this pantslessness isn't a bug, this is a feature.

My brain just broke from the strain of comprehending that.

To quote Toady One, You can't blame a dwarf for liking the feel of giant mole leather.

HOWEVER, it probably is a bug that dungeon masters grab cloak after cloak after cloak.  Shouldn't they only wear one at a time?

Can a dwarf be too flash?
Every dungeon master is like ten or twenty times as cool as Batman, the Caped Crusader. And I'm ok with that.

Instead of wearing them, I like to think that they stitch them together, so their cloaks can reach such proportions that could make Spawn jealous.

They wrap themselves totally in cloaks until nobody can notice that they aren't wearing any pants.
Or in fact that they are talking to a dwarf as opposed to a pile of dirty, vomit-encrusted clothing.
