This game doesn't seem like my sort of thing, but I'd like to interject quickly to complement Armok on his admirable improvement in typing quality and general comprehensibility.

Would also like to suggest not putting every GM response in annoying spoilers. Quotes, maybe? As keeping them separate is evidently important.

A virtual machine running windows start. Looks like a new windows installation that has never been run. The desktop looks like a living room, a looping recoding of a jungle visible through he window, widgets represented by furniture, files by small objects, running programs by birds flying around the room and doing symbolic actions, etc. It's REALLY annoying and gimmicky. A photorealistic interactive avatar of an attractive young female walks onto the screen, she complains about not being able to access the Microsoft servers (the last ones were molten into sludge millennia ago) and that you haven't checked for updates in NaN days.

There are THOUSANDS of folders in there, most of them just names of various people. There is also an non-linear holo presentation file named "mission statement". And a bunch of index files with incomprehensible names.

usr/sbin/psrinfo -v redirects to a hardware management program on a tab listing the status of the probes CPUs.

There are a total of 1024 of them. Each at 3044 petaflop. Simulating the human brain in real time takes 12-14 petaflop.
out of these, 503 are listed as non accessible, probably destroyed. Another 200 or so are in various levels of reduced functionality.
Another one just went out, make that 504.
It also lists various technical data about each one, but nothing that seems unusual.

The kineticMind documentation is a HUGE interactive textbook file. The start page has a introduction and a search box.
Turns out there are actually two things called kineticMind, one is an API based on a "user" side which can be a wetware brain with a brain machine interface, a neural net based AI, or a brain emulation like yourself. The other side is is the avatar, which can be a character in a simulation, a robotic body, or any other third party thing that receives motoric data from the API and gives back sensory data.
The kineticMind PROGRAM mainly runs and constructs simulations or training or socializing in, and can also track users and avatars, and a few other useful things like a rudimentary autopilot for avatars and a hud that displays useful info.

Kinetic mind tutorail has a bunch of technical steps that need doing but basicaly goes like this:
- install kineticmind (alredy done presumably)
- configure it (and how to do so)
- load up this simulation made for the tutorial and do this and this and this for practice
- chose a "robot" and how to configure it
- > user: Be the robot.

Hardware:
 - 1 582 880 petaflops of cpu (wow)
 - more memory than you could possibly ever need. It's memristor based to, so no need to discriminate between RAM and hard drive.
 - engine, cooling, heatshelds, etc. This is rocket science, literally.
 - sensor systems [expandable]
 - robotics [expandable]
 - pretty damn powerful com. No satelites or anything else out there thou, so until someone puts something there this thing will be pretty idle.
 - battery (LOW)
 - solar array (not deployed)
 - "fab" [expandable]
and some other stuff I've probably forgotten.

It is indeed instaled, you make a user profile and configure it. Man, this program sure is huge and advanced and not looking very user friendly! Luckily it also has a built in assistant with better intuitions than that command interpreter so it actually is and you should be able to do cool stuff with it anyway.

There are a huge amount of howtos for every conceivable thing in that documentation.

The FAQ is huge and mostly about technical issues you haven't been experiencing, or legal stuff, which you aren't experiencing either because the last government was destroyed millennia ago.
