I'm convinced to use black for the hair. Tying razors to your hair, then flailing your head wildly would result in more damage to yourself. You also have an arm cannon, so what would be the use in using something weak, and short ranged?

Female. Nuclear-whatever. Long, braided black hair. Name this freak of nature! Convince me, and others why the name should be what it is!

I'm leaning for Chernobyl. Naming it Xanatos would just be too silly, and Mikhail Gorbachev is too masculine. Any other suggestions, or arguments as to why I should pick one of the other names?

Not to rain on your parade, but I'm not sure very many people here are interested in going into deep and passionate page-long debates about the strategic values of hair color and whatnot, which seems to be what you're after.
