I think the margarine one applies to America as well. You can't even buy the stuff over here, it was banned.

woah  :o
Anyone rollerblading may not tie his or herself to a moving vehicle on a highway

There is a similar one for Washington State, except for sleds.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I see no skateboards in those two laws.

My very own state contains one of the most interesting laws I've ever seen.
Quote
It is a felony to drink a glass of milk as you are being passed by a train.
Your guess is as good as mine.

There also exists out there a matress that advises you not to eat it, meaning that someone once tried to eat a matress and that warning was the result.

No no no, It means someone tried to eat the matress, got sick, and sued the company that made it for not haveing a warning.

It's like the Open Container Law. I bet someone threw a glass of milk at a train's windshield. We don't want trains barreling down the tracks unable to see.

From Oregon law.
Quote
Drivers must yield to pedestrians who are standing on the sidewalk.
What the fuck.

Quote
Babies may not be carried on the running boards of a car.
What kind of an idiot makes this sort of law necessary in the first place?

From Texas, easily my favorite.
Quote
When two trains meet each other at a railroad crossing, each shall come to a full stop, and neither shall proceed until the other has gone.

That one might date to the early 20th century.

texas must make locomotive laws based on Dr.Seuss, I remember something about two guys that always went North/South and never moved sideways, eventually meeting each other.
