The "afterlife" I would prefer is a total and complete cessation of existence. Forever is a long time, no matter what you're doing, so the only correct answer I see is to stop "being" entirely.

not all afterlives are infinite.
Valhalla for example only lasts till Ragnarök. At least, if I understand correctly you are supposed to die in that battle.

But so too are the days of our lives.

Quantum Immortality would be crazy.

I asked my friends about this and one of them said something about Inception, and asked me if I was dreaming or not. I don't think I'd want to be. If my whole life has been one night of sleep, I think I would crack. Repeating this timespan over and over again within a greater portion of myself.

Umm.

I'm not sure I would, unless Reincarnation counts.

I mean, i'dve spent my entire life living, do I really want to be spending my death the same way?

Then you haven't read much criticism or sarcasm regarding TV viewing.

It does the same thing as he's suggesting.
Yes my RL name is Captain Obvious of the US Marines.

I would want the Valhalla reincarnation. Fighting all day eating all night. I bet women fit in there somewhere...

Actually I like to poke fun at Valhalla because it's portrayed as such a sausage fest.  For months I've been promoting "crossing the rainbow bridge" as a term for overcoming homophobia.

Seriously, you're carried by warrior women across a rainbow bridge who then leave you with a giant hall full of valiant manly warriors.

This is all poking fun in fondness though.  I love vikings :P

Well, after messing around for ages in a "god mode" afterlife, I'd simply reset it all.  As in, wipe my memories and start it all again with someone else.

Perhaps I've already done this a few times.  Hmm.

An alternative that could be cool would be going to a sortof "lobby".  While in the "lobby" you remember all your past lives, and can start a new one.

Reincarnation is good for me, afterlives seem boring.

And invite your Steam friends before starting the game.

Actually, it's not all that different from "real" descriptions of some afterlives, so...
actually there was that one time with a Ouija board and wow I'm like the fluffiest fruitiest person on this board aren't I
