Then I will USE mods to do it damn it! I want to imagine elven tears as their genitals get ripped off by a crossbow bolt before they either bleed to death from said wound or I rip off their ears and beat them to death with them!

Also, being a Crusader could be fun. Especially if Toady eventuilly allows us to 'enforce' our religious beliefs through bloody combat on other civs.

I believe that Toady stated in his updates that:
A) He threw a goblin leader's dagger at his shoulder
B) His companion archer tried to shoot *something* in the head.

No, he actually said in they couldn't because he hasn't decided what skills affect ability to get and avoid a hit on a given area (with melee isn't weapon and fighter vs. dodger and fighter), but he might implement that before the release.

You can't currently aim ranged attacks, though it might get in before the release.  In that case the skills used will have to change again, of course, though it might be that there aren't skill influences the same way there, since opportunities and changing chances are supposed to come in part from the positioning from the ongoing fight, which can't be influenced in the same way by a distant shooter.

The obvious thing to do is to is to make two elves in the arena.

Make one of the elves a grand master biter,

Assume control of another elf with a hammer

break the master biter's hands.

Throw hammer into lava.

Go back to arena mode.

Watch combat log =)

I may become a freak amongst the DF community for saying this, but I can't really be evil.

However, due to the targeting, I could simply disable people instead of killing them, preserving my twisted moral code.

For example, a shopkeeper attacks me for accidentally stealing? Leave his upper body intact so he can still describe his wares. Soldier? Leave their teeth so they could still bite people to death.

That way, society will be preserved.

lol death seems preferable to all that for those individuals....I prefer to kill people knowing that they will get slaughtered eventually....

As it is I usually just stab things until they pass out, then wander off.
Crusading, however, sounds AWESOME. And your adventurer could have a random deity like the ones dwarves get in fort mode, and you could choose to enforce their belief on people! With Violence!
