You could probably Tarzan your way across with the rope, Nirur. If you need a weight to make it usable you could always sacrifice the shield.

It seems to be some sort of indentation or block that was obscured by glare when I first looked.

How high and far can we jump?

That's plan B. It leaves a rope possibly cut, and quite probably irretrievable.

You could probably jump the length of where the left tip of where your shield is to the wall.(If that helps at all.)
About as high as the height of the top-right chest in the starting room.

Oh, this should be easy then. Probably a trap though.

I'll spend the turn looking to the room to the right, and trying to figure out what that square thing is. Planning is essential while jumping above pits filled with liquid death.

You got nothing in the starting room because it was extremely secret. It took the monster's shake to break it open.
I said up further that the dark room is blocked off. You can't go in there.
I just skipped your action since there really wasn't anything for you to do.
You can go do something in the hall Maroon's in now though.

Ok, I think I'll add a few things while I wait for the others.

1. I said before that a shop later in the game would be item-for-item, but I'll change that to Item-to-Money. You can sell items you have to earn a currency in the game(I'll decide on that when we get there.), which you can use to buy other things.

2. There will be more than one exit to the dungeon. When you find it, you can exit anytime you want, but after you exit, there is no return. Some may wish to get more Dungeonpoints(Which I will start giving out soon.) at the risk of dying, or some may wish to leave while they are alive.

3. You can have as many items as you want. You can only wear things in the spots I said before(Hands, head, chest, legs, back), but anything you don't want to carry with you can be stored in an invisible bank floating around you.

4. Starting next turn, the rules of speed will be applied. This means you may only enter one room at a time. (EX. There are three rooms. A middle room, left room, and right room. If you wanted to go from the right room to the left, it would take two turns.) This may differ depending on the size of the room.

Okay then. Can speed be improved through special boots, or something weird like that?

Probably. It would give something like: Can travel through two rooms a turn.

"You must be really ugly if you refuse to show yourself!"
Yellow, Black, Green, and Red continue to fight in their own styles, but since the group has little attack, the creature continues charging around strong. It does look a little beat now though, and it's eyes are turning red.
Obviously angry, the beast rushes to the right, harming Yellow, Green, and Red.
Red is now lightly wounded.
Green is now lightly wounded.
Yellow is now Scratched.

Maroon engages the flyball in mortal combat. The eyeball swoops down and tackles Maroon, doing little damage. Maroon counters with a long slash, doing alot of damage to the eye. The eye strikes again, but this time does no damage. Maroon finishes the fight by stabbing the eyeball straight through.
Maroon is now Scratched.
The eyeball drops:
One(1) Light lens. (Allows the wearer to see in the dark. Everyone else in a dark room will see the room as dark, but the wearer will get PMed a bright version of the room.)

Purple checks back at the flying maze room, but finds nothing has changed.

Cyan checks the right side of the room, and notices a light pale Indentation in the wall. It's a perfect square, and looks like something square may fit inside if you threw it in.

Maroon earns one DungeonPoint for defeating the flyball.
