Well, can you wrap this game up and start a new one Eagle?

It seems to be suicide to explore or hunt when your cell just starts out, but the only alternative is to photosynth...and die of mutations. Which I guess IS realistic, for germs...

Maybe you could tone down the insta death? I say, keep the RNG, just make it less...harsh. I would of rather we would have had even half the players who died survive with low health, something close to that.

alright sure. Actually, everyone lasted through their first hunt and got far more food than they spent. It's when they started getting greedy that the deaths happened :D

no, photosynthesis costs no energy. Also, you're veeerrrry lucky you changed. You kinda.... died in the old order.
so i died in BOTH orders?
yeah, having instadeath this bad is a bit of a problem, mabey make larger cells do damage (mabey lots of damage), just try to avoid insta kill (at least when its impossible to predict)

I only hunted once, and it killed me.

Oh well, RAM requests a new cell!

actually, its just that combat continues until one is dead.

um... then add the ability to run away (eg. we take 50% damage and automatically (try to) scram if we are fighting a significantly strong enemy)
also RAM, i think that you need to wait till the game ends, there are still two people left (who given how the game is going, 1 or both will die next turn)

Why not have a trait that determines "bravery"-a higher or lower chance to flee from battles when damaged? More "cowardly" cells would live longer, but cells that fight and win get stronger?

I never hunted, I just moved photo'd and bred. Apparently movement is totally fatal.

I will continue to join this game until over 50% of the initial species survive round 1.
