fanofgaming encountered harmful radiation, gained four food, spent two energy, and bred successfully.

Sheb was killed by a size 4 cell when hunting.

dwarmin killed by viruses found in overzealous exploration.

Agith gained two food, spent four energy, and gained a positive mutation reducing mutation risk by 5% every turn.

Lemon10 died, engulfed by a size 4 cell while hunting

Nevyn was engulfed by a size 5 cell while hunting

Rawr was engulfed by a size 5 cell while hunting

kagurodraven died out after sterilization from a mutation

virus pack killed megaman...

so yeah... that pretty much leaves agith and fanofgaming...

That doesn't answer my question Eagle. All I did was add "hunt - move" to my action chain, how did that change my survival? Did you not want me to have food, or something?

Not telling us what happens when an action fails isn't a good move on your part. It's to be expected that in some cases you'd die, but normally you don't allow such a total train wreck to occur on the first turn.

yeah, this is really, really really unlikely. espeically agiths... that had a 1 in 9000 chance of happening. basically, everyone but fan and agith got really unlucky, agith got really lucky. And I can't do anything to affect it, its all up to the rng.

The RNG isn't an absolute thing that you have to follow. If you feel that people are too lucky, or too unlucky then you just keep trying over, and over until you get a reasonable outcome.

no... It's a game of chance, partially. That would be cheating, in my opinion. I'm not going to rig it because I feel sorry for someone.

I wasn't talking about myself, you let 75% of us die in the first turn. It isn't cheating to try to continue until more than 25% survives.
