I used to be a huge fan of their chili-in-a-bread-bowl before they took it off the menu years ago. It was awesome.

I also love their french vanilla "cappaccino" coffee style flavor beverage. I saw one nutrition site referring to it as "like drinking a cup of bacon". So true. So good.
OMG i WANT SOME.

I've gone to Tim Hortons once or twice when  I visit my family in New York. I approve of it.

Starbucks is what happens when a company throws a shit-ton of money at its stores to make them feel authentic and trendy at the same time. Very good coffee but not a place to go in and out. I usually drop by after job hunting and get a "large Pike Place" and drink it while reading a book (Such as Howard Fast's "April Morning"), get a refill, read a book, get a refill... if you sit around and enjoy the atmosphere and cheap refills, its worthwhile. But the people who go in, get a mochafrappeskinnysoychino and dive back into their cars not only miss the point, but pay way too much.

I tried studying a couple of times in Starbucks. A cafe sounds like a great place to read, but the grinder is constantly, ice is being crushed, the background music is moderately loud, and of course there's people. I could see it as a group study place, but not an individual study.

I've noticed this forum has been influencing what food I eat. People mention or suggest things and I try them out. I guess on my next paycheck I'll try some or Tim's Donuts.
