I like 1 and 3 equally (voting 1). The sharp-edges-pencil style of 1/3 suit stories like this a lot better than 2's soft/smooth edges do, IMO.

I've picked style 1, as it seems to be the majority vote here (by a small margin) and looks best to me.

Oh, and I may need a musician to make some songs sometime. If you've read Homestuck, you know what I'm looking for. I probably won't need one soon, maybe never, but it's good to have one just in case.
