Got an artifact named "The Taker of Knights".
What kind of artifact, you ask?

Why, a totally pimptastic rope reed fiber dress, of course!

...and IIRC, one of the Let's Plays had a titan named Utesh (or something like that) the Moist Grotto.
Moist.
Grotto.

Not sure if jungle titan

or porn actress

Certainly you could argue that DF is a lot like The Sims, only... you know... with more vomit and decapitation.
If you launch a wooden mine cart towards the ocean at a sufficient speed, you can have your entire dwarf sail away in an ark.

Genned a world with a pony mod. The mod turns all the dwarf language names into English, but keeps the vocabulary from the Dwarvish dictionary.

Here are some selected highlights from the first few years of my pony civilization.

I think I may have won.

My current goverment is called Tour of Jaws,
symbolized by two cod.
Appropriately enough they are in constant need of fish and are willing to pay top price.

There was a randomly genned fortress in my adventure world named TormentSavior. It was manned by dwarves, unsurprisingly, and had some really good gear.

Also, "The Blueness of Igniting" is one of the oceans in my fort world.  Don't go swimming.

My current fort is called Raggorges. It is constantly raining elf blood.

The really twisted part is that it was founded by a group from The Spear of Kisses.

I think that's a little more impossible than I'm likely to have time for.

One of my more recent forts had a rather funny name.

"Lanternburn the Armoured Abbey of Artifice"

Ok agak famthut, "Finger the Anus of Horses"

The RNG didn't come up with it; that was me getting pissy at my my previous forts' destruction and wanting to make my next fortress' name a series of expletives, which I found out don't exist. So Instead of "Go Fuck a Horse, Goblins!" it's "Finger the Anus of Horses, Goblins!"

I still use it sometimes when I MUST involve expletives but couldn't get away with using the English language.

My modded civ has water as a sphere, so I occasionally get some very odd names.

For example, one of my current forts comes with the RNG name Lobsterbreakfast.  Their original group name was The Lobster of Oceans or something like that also involving lobsters.

I decided it was a sign and changed the group name to The Red Lobster.  Too bad we actually can't catch any seafood, since we're on a lake, not a sea.  We might specialize in delicious cheese biscuits though.

i once had a civ that went by the name conquered boots, never had much faith in them (especially after i found out it once had and ogress mate for a king.), and another civ by the name of The pointed busts.
then i had a fortress by the name hatespirals, it was founded by the plain poisons, who were a group from the civ The cosmic hex.

My most recent ones are a fortress called 'Routedmansions' (guess what !!happened!! to it?) and the civs 'The Tactical Tusk-Treaty' (bonus points for the T), 'The Hammer of Speech' (TALK TO THE HAMMER) and 'The Armored Syrups' (what.).

Probably the funniest one I had was "Moist Bust".
