My new fort is called Gulftowns, which is surprisingly fitting since it bridges the gap between a large island and the mainland, although that doesn't include a gulf.

My fortress just had its first migrant wave, with two married couples arriving. In order to make the dwarf interactions more interesting, I'm starting "clans". The first two clans have been started by the two married couples, with the clans being named based off of the mother's last name.

The first two family clans of my fortress are the Oardangles clan and the Sackwhims clans, respectively. Coincidentally, the fortress' broker is the patriarch of clan Sackwhims, while the matriarch and nameholder of the clan is the weaponsmith. I suspect the Sackwhims will become minor nobility.

Because of these two migrant couples, their descendents will bear the titles of "Oardangles" and "Sackwhims" tacked to the end of their names. Armok have mercy on their unfortunate souls.

I got a goblin civ called The Uncertain Pregnancies. Considering I modded goblins to give birth to between 3 and 5 children and take only six years to become an adult (and increasing their max pop and site pop max accordingly), I can understand the uncertainty.
